We are a team of senior electrical engineers and technical leaders with over 45 years of combined experience in utility-scale photovoltaic (PV) systems, battery energy storage systems (BESS), and power systems engineering. Our expertise spans full-cycle project execution — from electrical design and CAD drafting to power system studies, commissioning, training, and technical reporting. We specialize in load flow, short circuit, protection coordination, arc flash, grounding, and compliance with NEC, IEEE, and NFPA 70E standards, along with other advanced power system studies tailored to each project’s needs. Our Services
Grid Connection & Interconnection
End-to-end design and permitting for utility‐scale grid-tied projects, including POI studies, interconnection application support, and close coordination with transmission operators. We perform detailed network impact analyses, develop one-line and three-line diagrams, and manage the UL/IEEE compliance process to streamline approval and accelerate energization.
Renewable Energy Integration
Seamless integration of solar, wind, and battery energy storage (BESS) into existing power systems. Our team conducts dynamic stability studies, voltage regulation analysis, and controls strategy design to ensure reliable plant performance. We size and model hybrid configurations, develop control logic for real‐time dispatch, and optimize the balance‐of‐plant to maximize renewable penetration.
Power Quality Analysis
Comprehensive harmonic and voltage‐disturbance studies to identify and mitigate power quality issues. We deploy field measurement campaigns, analyze flicker/THD, and recommend solutions such as filters, dynamic voltage restorers (DVRs), or capacitor banks. Our reports include mitigation design, equipment specifications, and cost‐benefit evaluations to improve reliability and extend equipment life.
Protection & Control Engineering
We design and validate AC/DC protection schemes for PV and BESS systems across all voltage levels. Our services include relay settings, arc flash analysis, protection coordination, and device selection. We ensure safe and selective operation through settings validation, coordination studies, and compliance with utility requirements. All deliverables undergo structured QA/QC review to ensure accuracy, reliability, and alignment with project standards.
Power System Studies
We perform AC and DC power system studies for utility-scale PV and BESS systems, covering load flow, short circuit, arc flash, voltage drop, losses, insulation coordination, lightning risk assessment, and transient stability. Our team uses leading tools including ETAP, PowerFactory, PSS®E, CYMCAP, SKM, and CDEGS to model electrical networks, evaluate system performance, and support utility approvals. All study results are supported by peer-reviewed reports, diagram updates, and mitigation recommendations, reviewed for compliance with ANSI, IEEE, NEC, NESC, and NFPA 70E.
Power System Consultation
We provide strategic advisory services on interconnection rules, grid code compliance, and long-term system planning. Our team supports clients through NERC, FERC, and utility processes, conducts feasibility assessments, and prepares capacity expansion roadmaps. We also provide peer reviews, constructability input, and cost-benefit evaluations to support confident, executive-level decision-making.
CAD Design & Support
Turnkey drafting services including single-line diagrams, three-line schematics, cable routing, and panel layouts. We generate accurate AutoCAD and Revit deliverables for OEM packages, constructability reviews, and as-built updates. Our CAD support extends to P&ID integration, BOQ generation, and coordination with MEP disciplines to reduce field conflicts.
Power Studies & CAD Training
We offer hands-on training tailored to engineering teams, covering tools such as ETAP, DIgSILENT PowerFactory, PSS®E, SKM, CYMCAP, CDEGS, and AutoCAD. Our structured courses include load flow modeling, protection coordination, arc flash analysis, grounding studies, insulation coordination, cable ampacity, and schematic development. Training can be delivered onsite or virtually, with custom exercises, real project examples, and ongoing support to build internal proficiency and reduce dependence on external consultants.
